The City of Warren received favorable funding consideration from the U.S Department of Health and Human Services - Strengthening Communities Fund for the purpose of providing capacity expanding training and technical assistance to the non-profits serving those in need in the City of Warren, Ohio.

To collaborate, support and coordinate with the citizens of Warren in developing and implementing
action steps needed to implement Warren's Strategic Plan.

About Strategic Planning and Strategies for Improving the City
For over a year and a half, many members of the Warren community worked diligently with Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc. (PDG) to prepare the 2009 strategic report: Recreating Warren: 2009 Revitalization Strategy. At its May 12, 2010 meeting, Warren City Council appointed the Strategic Planning Group for the purpose of assisting Warren City Council with the implementation of the city’s citywide Comprehensive Development Plan.
